Wouuld you be delighted if Doherty, say, started throwing dummies and doing little dragbacks on the edge of the penalty area? Maybe a few stepovers and kangaroo kicks? No you f**king would not. Why? Because it is not percentage play - at some point, he will f**k it up, look like a total dickhead and cost his team.

Why should Huckerby or Pocket be any different? There is a universe of difference between flair and taking the piss, especially when the latter ends up giving the ball away and putting your team under needless pressure.

Most players know how to do the simple things. Exceptional players know WHEN to do the simple things. No player on this earth or any other has ever impressed a manager by acting like a big-headed t**t, disrespecting the opposition and allowing them back into the game.
