a better job than Adams this season but frankly we would have all lost the will to live and probably chucked ourselves in the Wensum so something had to give.

In reality it should have been very simple. Just appoint an experienced manager and nobody could really have had any complaints even if things did go wrong. I heard the Bigfeller call on Canary Call and he was spot on. You minimise the odds and don;t leave yourselves open to accusations you took the cheap option. We on the other hand lengthened them by taking a complete punt.
