Fair points, and I agree to an extent

certainly Adams isn't get the best out of the squad.

But I don't think the squad is all that strong. The players you have mentioned would be taken by nearly all Champ teams, but only Redmond would probably interest Premier League clubs.

And the rest of the squad - players like Martin, Whittaker, Johnson, Grabban, Lafferty, O'Neil, Murphy etc.. are just average or slightly above average Championship players.
