FFS have I cocked up?

Got a Acer Chrome book C720 yesterday for daughter only for her to tell me that it won't install Office or ITunes which basically is all she wanted. I now also find Argos won't refund. I take it she is right??? Tech help please and be gentle I don't have a scooby doo when it comes to this kinda of stuff
