We did use to occasionally click with Mullers in the middle, didn't we?
Even in the promotion and premiership seasons I think we sometimes looked a better passing team on the rare occasions when he played. (eg Soton at home, if memory serves.)
S'ppose there were just too many times when it didn't work. And he didn't do enough of the other stuff a midfielder needs to do.
Anyways, guess Saf does the same thing now but better....
