Watched a vid of the Man City v NCFC game where we lost 4 -1 a few.......

seasons back in what i would imagine was 2001. The game where Tiatto got sent off and kicked the water buckets.

A few things struck me. We played better footie then than we do now. Not many high balls at all. Whether this was down to Man City giving loads of space i don't know.

What has happened to Drury? He was passing the ball well then but now he is the king of the hoof as far as i am concerned.

Also what a tidy player Notman was. Never gave the ball away and always used it intelligently. Could also put a good cross in as well. We could do with him now on the right.
