Loaning a good player to a rival is not all negative....
while it makes them better and increases the probability of taking more points, it also doesn't hurt you as much as people think.
It makes them better vs everyone else BUT you (because he cant play vs you)
Meaning it does increases their probability of points but reduces your other rivals probability of taking points off Watford.
It makes them better but also increases your chances (of promotion) vs every other team as they have to play a better Watford.
