ABC Card

Mrs KC was involved in the early development of the Safeways loyalty card, was called the ABC Card.

This was back in the early/mid 1990?s, was a brilliant project to work on. Eventually the scheme was scrapped, think this was around 2000 when the new CEO a marketing guy called Criardo-Perez was appointed.

Safeways had a huge amount of data on clients but didn?t know how to use it or had the tools to exploit it though. Didn?t really matter as they were taken over by Morrisons soon after.
