He'd do a perfectly good job there

as he did at Brum and Newcastle, and to some extent with us. It's totally ridiculous to think of him as a "bad manager" (like Peter Grant, or Gunny for example) - he didn't fit us, he had a centre forward who couldn't hit a barn door, and he was sometimes too cautious when he might have gone for broke, but if he goes to Fulham he'll keep them up comfortably.
