I just cannot comprehend how they got a little boy - little enough to have absolutely no conception of acting, etc - to do what he did. Just remain so placid and emotionless while things were going on. Just a rabbit sitting there - how did the lad not react to a rabbit in front of him.

And then there's there commitment to the feel of the 70s - sets, wardrobe, props, vehicles, the 4:3 aspect ratio.

Easily the highest quality hour of British telly in a decade. More. I don't know. I can't easily think of a comparison from any time really.
