I went to that game versus Chelsea

About 15k in a crumbling wreck of a ground. Vast spaces with no bugger in at all.

Fleck and Townsend, if memory serves, both played against us. Fleck just seemed sad and like a fish out of water. Townsend was, of course, a c**t. He scored I think.

The come back was quite unexpected, but strangely inevitable once it got going. Dave Phillips scored the last one, with a feeble effort that big Dave dived over the top of. Oh how we rejoiced. And enjoyed giving it to Townsend. Oddly I went to that game with my mum, a massive fan, who gave Townsend a yell of 'w**ker' plus hand sign when he came nearby at 2-3.

And whenever anyone tries to tell me Chelsea are a big team, I always think back to that day, when there was no f**ker there and they looked like the second tier nobodies that they in fact are, once you take away ?1bn of mineral reserves.
