I think the World Cup finally put the sword to England as a hope.

The friendlies are just nonsense in the main.
The qualifiers are a drag until something is at stake.
I think we have some good young players but Hodgson is just the same old moth-eaten FA approved duffer.

I have lost interest since Hoddle tbh.

Now I find England games just get in the way of a normal footballing weekend.
