the pub or whatever. I wasn't asking people to sign their name to an official document whereby they would lose their lives if some disagreed or if some new player turned out to be s**te. You must also have never played FM or the like.

I merely asked what people thought was our strongest team 'on paper'.

Others have posted on here that our squad seems very strong especially for the Championship, so perhaps, just maybe, I (obviously mistakenly) thought that this may have crossed other peoples minds too.

Obviously if you were actually the manager, you would have seen a lot of the players from last season, so far this, pre-season , in friendlies and in the few league games so far. You would also have an idea of where the new players would/might fit in, otherwise what would be the point in signing them? Even if you had all of this information it would still be a learning curve for the manager to find the 'best' team so soon into the season and with the new players and in fact you actually may never find the 'best team'.
