I would suggest (hope) that they B team would incorporate more home grown talent

development them on as there a competitive platform for them to perform on. Thus reducing the number of additional/superfluous players a top team would hang onto.

Being able to bring a player up from a B team that has been playing regulary is surely better than a player who has been sitting on the bench for weeks on end?
