I hate reading transfer stories like this

van Ginkel is a real talent who basically lost a season of his career by allowing himself to be sucked up and spat out by Chelsea's talent vacuum. I feel the same reading stories about players like Scott Sinclair and Jack Rodwell. The way that big clubs now buy all these players then let them rot in the reserves for a few months (or even years) before eventually loaning them out deprives everyone of some great players and works to the detriment of the national game IMO.
