No no no. No comparison here. I'm just trying to find some hints as to

where the important bits of the bell curve are. What are the outliers (Mrs B's pal's eldest "did it in a day" him Mum says, while our nephew has had false starts and try-agains over and over, and is three-and-a-half almost - I suspect those are outliers) and where is the median. And what are the most important variables.

Like Thricolas Hawesington says, I'm more bothered about the parts of the house that haven't been shat on yet (not so much the settees - they're in a right old state after 2.5 years or parenting anyway) and wondering how much of it is likely to get shat on.
