his emphasis on organisation (even with the accompanying inflexibility) is perfect for teams that are in a shambolic state and need such stability badly (see Newcastle and Birmingham).

For teams that are already doing well however (e.g. us when he took over) it is effectively applying an unnecessary straightjacket and reducing a productive dynamism (as opposed to the destructive dynamism at crisis clubs)
