From a Fulham supporting mate who was there last night

Honestly, that?s 19 players used in two home games, and trying to remember their names is hard enough let alone how they play.

We have lurched like a huge wave from two seasons watching gnarled old has-beens with passing commitment to the club to a collection of teenage weaklings without any idea of how to get the ball in the net. Ok, they are promising teenagers all, but a lot of babies have been thrown out with the PL bathwater.

FM said last night that he?d told everyone in the squad he wanted to give them a chance ? surely this is something you do in pre-season friendlies? Whilst Saturday was excusable, last night was a shambles.

There?s no Plan A, let alone any other letters! I was quite positive before the season regarding the youngsters but unless they are given proper encouragement, support and direction?

In answer to your question (Re Fotheringham), I think that the fact that he was substituted says a lot. In a poor team display he didn?t add any value.
