Agreed - its all about bargaining...

like our "we don't need to sell but if players want to go its a different matter" comment.
I believe we probably DO need to sell but if we come out and say so our bargaining power goes out of the window. Hence the comment above, which allows us to hold a tough line while being able to say "we never said no-one would go" when we do sell players.

Palace's "Not for Sale" comment merely means "you won't get him cheap"
