I really like Adamses's frankness in interviews

I got the impression that Hoots was always very reluctant to say anything too revealing about transfers or relationships with players, but NA seems to be the opposite. I think the way he's dealt with the RvW deal is a good example - he's been honest about what's happening and he's even left the door open for him to change his mind. The same for the comments on Wes and Surman. It's important for fans to feel well informed about what's going on at the club and I suspect Hoots didn't grasp this. I guess that though his days on CC gives some fans a stick to beat him with, actually the experience with the media is a great advantage in other ways.
