Norfolk?s dumplings were nestled all snug in their beds
While fans fired attacks at each others heads

When down at the ground there arose such a clatter
The police force turned up to see what was the matter
It was a televised fantasy on a big screen
A game of good football by the yellow and green

The players danced, they weaved, they passed and they scored
Delia did somersaults while every fan roared
It seemed like a miracle to the most deserving of fans
As singing and happiness was back in the stands

How was this feat managed the masses enquired?
By Santa Claus who stood at the manager?s side
With laughter and bear hugs to players one and all
As he told them to frolic, it?s only a ball

The screen went black and the illusion did too
But Santa?s last words were heard by a few
They heard him exclaim ?ere he drove out of sight
Good times will return and to all a good night
