i think you will find
the the Red Cross and St Johns do several types of course from first aid in the home through to course suitable for the workplace
I know that for offshore its a four day course and i would have thought just for the home would be a one day course or most probably in the evenings
I'm sure if you called them they will be very helpful making sure you get the right course for your needs ,
