Spoke to Doncaster last night.......
Theres no way Worthy is going anywhere, all he kept saying was that a change of manager would be expensive and it wouldn't mean results would change.
He also said things were changing and cited the huddle before Crewe as an example. Oh right everything must be ok again. Apparently Crewe are one of the best passing teams in the league, obviously that slick magic they're playing is paying off.
And he made no attempt to deny that Ashton was off, the thought of Worthington having a couple of million to spend makes me shiver.
He's a decent bloke and fair play for talking to me but it does seem that the board have got their head in the sand and are not going to budge over this.
We're f**ked.
