I think what has struck a nerve with this decision

Is the feeling that its a punt and one that smacks of us having messed up our hunt for a manager.

Whether that's because of this damn technical director nonsense putting candidates off or other clubs I font know but it just feels like the board have lost it at the moment.

Nobody is slagging Neil Adams off because they don't like him or because they don't desperately want him to do well. We did improve slightly under him and he showed some signs of decent tactical awareness and also seemed to be able to motivate the players short term. Personally though I have some doubts as to whether this appointment will not make it harder for us to hold on to the likes of Ruddy and Snod than had we appointed someone like Lennon. Why we have not at least tried to get Lennon is baffling to me when he has been making overtures in our direction.
