Just lost all respect for Our Chairman

Have just heard from a vice president at the club who used to be a director. Obviously he has contact with the chairman.
In a recent chat Mumby told him that Worthington and the board now believe we went up one season to early.
Mumby also told him that Worthy is building for next season and the reason that we are not doing very well is because the players now this and thus are not giving 100% percent as they now the plan is to mount our promotion challenge next season.
Mumby also told him that the fans do not realise but Worthington has told the board that we are not getting the results at present as he is experimenting with players and formations in order to get the right squad and tactics for next season. Hence why we have so many loan players at the moment as worthy is testing them out for next season.
He also confirmed that a deal was already in place for Ashton to move on in January.

First question I asked was what has happened to the Charlton model of going back down and bouncing straight back up to the prem?

Hearing all this has really pissed me off as it just shows how Worthy has the board in his pocket. Worthy has obviously filled them with a load of s**t that he is building for next year and experimenting this season and they have fallen for it hook line and sinker.
