Now I've had a chance to reflect on the McNally interview
I am certainly more optimistic about our chances next year. I know only 50% of relegated teams come straight back up, but I really think McNally's point about us having best in class people in all areas of the club, and being debt free, does make our position substantially better than most other teams that go down.
I think if we really are able to turn down offers for the the players we want to keep, unload the under-performers and people who don't want to be here (RvW, Bassong, Fer most obviously), appoint a strong manager, and give them money to spend from the people we sell, we will be in good shape.
