On the other hand

We have HAD the continuity now. He has been here 5 years, and despite the success we are now back to where we started.

The performances this season have been unacceptable, particularly for our strong travelling support. He has lost the players and they have lost their confidence. We admire him for the success he has bought us in the past, but his latest signings, selections and poor judgement render it time for him to go.

Continuity is continuity. This is stale.
