After saying that we would only accept an offer that was considerably higher than those we got in the summer (?6.7 million?), he will look pretty stupid if we sell him for anything less so talk of ?3 million offers look a bit ridiculous. ?9 million might be enough according to EDP.
However, can they really hope to hold out for that much if he says he wants to go to a team that don't just lump it up to him and where he might actually have a chance of scoring some goals and maybe getting in the England team.
The thought of him having ?9million to spend on top of any money we might get for Green and Safri, etc gives me nightmares.
