I guess you could see it like that

I was really disappointed today by the lack of urgency on the ball in the first half.

They looked to be a bit unsure and lacking in confidence, and we offered no threat, allowing them to gradually play their way into form.

It was the complete opposite type of performance than you would expect from a team fighting for survival.
