I have the Canon 1100d - it is an excellent DSLR - before

you buy new though check out Philips Cameras on Fye Bridge, Norwich - he always has second hand that are as new and great value. You will need to have folding money though as he doesnt take cards. Excellent bloke and really knows his stuff.
