I've just watched the first episode of that new Fargo tv show.

I was *convinced* it would be so disappointing, because the film was so so good, but it was absolutely incredible.

I was sure it would have a Frances McDormand hole cut right through it so far that you couldn't possibly watch it, but they've done such a good job with recreating the feel of the film, and putting little bits of that into all the characters, that that hole is filled right up with other bizarre Minnesotans. Tim from off of The Office is just double-a-plus brilliant. I mean he's good in everything he does, but this is just something else. The character's so well written, and he acts it just incredibly.

It is very good. Fear not, Fargo fans, they haven't shat on the original film just for a few quid - they've actually done good stuff.
