Have been trying very hard not to get drawn into this today. But these quiet assertions that fans somehow contributed to the disaster - there just isn't any evidence for this. They went where they were directed, there were the right number of them for the stand, and they were delayed for so long that of course, like any football fans, they tried to hurry to get in as kick off approached.

It's incredible and very weird that some people continue to insist the fans bear some responsibility, in the absence of any evidence for that at all.
