surely they won't need their contracts paying up?
because if they go they'll be going somewhere where they'll be earning more than they do here (paying up is only anissue where they are taking a wage cut). If they DON'T express a wish to leave we won't sell so they'll be playing a dangerous game. If they really DO want to go they'll have to let us know. Suspect their reticence in coming out and saying so is because whether or not they want to leave largely depends on who comes in for them. If it isn't anone they want they'd probably rather stay...
