The likes of Francis and Greeno are never going to officially ASK for a transfer as it would mean they surrender the right to have their contracts paid up by the club when they leave?
Far better for them to "leave" and come out with the old line, "...I never wanted to leave the club, but, when an offer comes in for you, and the club accepts it....." bla bla bla...-and get the dosh from us as well!
Or am I just being cynical?
