Should I send this to Doncaster too?

The situation is dire. The end of last season should
have been the time for him to resign. We really could
have stayed up last season, although for some reason
it took Worthington until February to pick the best
side - when most of the supporters had been calling
for change all season - and begin to think about what
we could do to hurt teams and not what they could
potentially do to us. Time should have been called
after the Fulham capitulation on the last day of the
season.

Instead, the board continue to labour under the
impression that they have unearthed the new Alan
Curbishley, when in reality we have someone more akin
to Steve Gritt (long-departed and unheard of since
managerial partner of Curbishley at Charlton).

Look at his record on signings - this summer's have
been particularly unimpressive - but it was not just
last summer. I give you Keith Briggs, Marc Libbra,
Neil Emblen, Paul Heckingbottom, Mark Rivers, Jim
Brennan, Simon Charlton, Graham Stuart, Mattias
Jonson, David Bentley, Elvis Hammond, Nicky Southall,
Paul Crichton, Clint Easton, Darren Ward, Paul
Gallagher (two goalkeepers last season, why?), Zema
Abbey - all signings from previous seasons that have
summarily failed to produce at Carrow Road.

Dragging his less than glittering transfer record into
the picture may be a bit unfair given the good times
that have been delivered - play-off final, promotion -
but he has taken us as far as he can. I am fed up
hearing the same platitudes and banalities after every
game - passing, work rate, honesty - so I am sure his
teamtalks are as just as lacking in appeal for the
players. Either that, or we have not been told the
whole truth about what is going on at Colney and
Carrow Road.

Also the value that is left in the team he built is
being eroded - something that business people like
Delia and Michael can not afford to ignore - while any
hope of attracting players better than we have at the
moment is diminishing by the week. Can it be right
that we have so many players on loan at the moment?
Many of them midfielders in a squad that according to
Worthington at the start of the season had a "wealth
of midfielders", and one of them a right back after
signing two in the summer.

Therefore, time's up and the board should listen to
the majority of the fans - fans that not so long ago
Delia was calling the best football fans in the world.
