I very rarely get checked on that train

But it does get crowded going from Norwich and there are barriers at both ends of the line so perhaps there are less checks now.

What I have seen however is when the inspectors do come on if they think there is an intent to avoid a fare they often send you unpaid notice doc which could lead to prosecution. Not an ideal situation for anyone.
