most of our signings (Olsson, Redmond, Fer, Hooper) are probably worth more now than we paid for them.

I don't think any of Mackay's signings are. Also, the likes of Medel and Caulker are on 60k per week. With that kind of transfer and wage budget, he should have been doing better.
