Mick Dennis tweeted on around a dozen different occasions that "Lambert is manager. Won't sell to him." or "Too much bad blood twixt Lambert and McNally. Won't happen." or "Don't think they will (sell). But certainly not to Villa."

On February 14th David McNally says "No issue (with) the other club....Very happy to deal with Villa. It's business, not personal."

As you say, who's lying?
