I understand what you are saying, but the position that Adrian was covering when he left has not always been as youth team coach, has it?
He was involved in the coaching of the 1st team before Phelan came to the Academy.
And the solid back four minus 1 (malky) when we came up to the premiership was not as solid when adding Doc and many others as of last year.

I can see where you are comoing from, but u have to admit, players need to want to play for a manager 1st and then the club and respecting both issue equilly is vital.
We have not got either presently.

And now we have to face West Ham and draw comparisions.
