whoever said on here the other day that going round ikea is anything other than a massive ballache is criminally deranged and needs urgent professional help. london traffic was hideous, there was some sort of plod operation going on and road blocks pulling over suspect cars. some areas around barnet and wembley in particular are spectacularly run down and squalid. how people can live there is beyond comprehension. what a thoroughly depressing place. on the plus side we had a very nice lunch in arkley. you don't live in wembley area do you?
