To me it seems perfectly reasonable. Not sure why so many fans are upset at him.
Looks like he tried to be professional and sort it out behind the scenes.

For those who keep pointing out he signed a contract, I get it, but at the same time when he signed the contract, it was to play. Not sit on his arse.

If we arn't going to play him we need to sell while he still has value and bring in replacements.

I do understand where the club is coming from.
Selling for a crazy price to our rivals seems counter productive.

But what does the club do now?

If you play him then it sends a message out to the other players.

I dont see any way back, maybe a loan to a champs club might suit us better as we get the wages off the books but dont help our relegation rivals.
