There was absolutely nothing wrong with the team selection

He is using his squad wisely ahead of massive league games. If it was the quarter-finals it would have been different. But a Tuesday replay away from home? Rotate.

The bigger issue was the absolutely criminal attitude and application of those who WERE given a chance. Aimless, tactically bereft, allowing a shell-shocked Fulham to dance around us.

Fulham are the woest side in the league at the moment and we've scraped one draw in three fixtures during the past couple of weeks.

For those teetering it was the straw which breaks the camel's back. The 'one game too far'. For those who have done a violent u-turn in the space of 72 hours... well you'd have to ask them what they were so absolutely certain about before that they are so absolutely against now on the basis of one cup replay away to a Premier League side.
