I don't disagree. You could argue that the Hughton approach was what we needed last year

in the wake of Lambert's departure (although the 10 game run rather masked the fact that for 2/3rd of the season we were pretty awful). As many of us said last season though it was a means to an end but needed to change this year if we were going to progress/not get found out.

I was always Hoot sceptic but was prepared to give him a chance this season but the tipping point for me was Spurs away (which i know is not much of a chance) because the attitude mindset and way the team was set up was so defeatists and we just made it a stroll in the park for them. It was at that point I realised nothing had or was going to change because Hughton fundamentally believes we are inferior to most of the teams in this division.
