what's 'judging' got to do with it?

We all know he can be very good. And that he put in much less effort in the second half of the season, and so was much less good.

If he turns out to have been playing with a heamothorax or whatever it was Holty had, then that might explain it. (Altho you'd have thought we'd know by now.)

Otherwise we have to assume it was his head rather than his body. So we can expect him to go and play for someone he's committed to. (Or alternatively go and underperform somewhere else.)
