No it was all very pleasant. A lot of fans used to make cakes for Worthy and pass them
to the stewards who would put them on his seat for him to enjoy during the games. Jane from Kings Lynn, used to bring him a flask of hot tea in the colder months and her friend Tracey also from Kings Lynn, used to bring the soup. Many fans would regularly send him fan mail and thank you cards.
There was uproar when Worthy was sacked. One fan was so irate, he even removed his hands from under his arse and pointed angrily in the direction of the directors box.
