The problem isn't team selection or formation its the approach

We care more about stopping the opposition having chances than we do in creating our own goalscoring chances.

With Hooper and van Wolfswinkel we should be scoring goals for fun but a total lack of movement off the ball and a cautious approach to attack is rendering the team impotent.

If we could actually boast a good defensive record then maybe Hughton could be considered correct but as it stands we have the second worst defensive recored in the division.
