It is a shame that Pilks and Bennett have been injured

To be fair to Hughton, he has been a bit unlucky with injuries. We don't really have a great option instead of playing the frustratingly ineffective Redmond every week. We could use Josh, but it's a similar situation.

It's catch 22 as the only time we ever get excited in any game is when Redmond beats his man and lifts the crowd... yet then cocks up the cross (or hits a terrible shot) 80% of the time. Anticipating when/if Redmond will cross the ball can't be easy to predict. I get the impression Snod has also never been 100% right with his injury and car crash issue etc. Over the past few seasons most of our goals have originated from out wide.

IMO Pilks is one of our best creative players and things seem to happen when he plays.

Despite being pretty terrible and boring to watch all season I still think we're a better team and are progressing. Slowly. The key will be to actually get the ball to Hooper more than 3 or 4 times a game. His and the Wolf's movement is scarily good but we just can't seem to thread the ball through to them.
