Point is people who don't like Hughton's style of play

will always be more vociferous after a dreadful performance like today.

We weren't great at Sunderland by all accounts after the first 15 minutes, Swansea was pretty poor, so that's two points from teams from halfway down. That's not good with Man United to play next.
