On mine,
you take the rear spindle off, put the turbo one in, and then (with a bit of straining) that fits onto the turbo.
As I say, not sure I'd be arsed to do that twice a week. Hence the dedicated turbo bike. But suspect others are less lazy / mechanically challenged.
