yes, Xmas is a small affair here, mostly just Christmas Eve really. It's a shame as most of the rest of Latin America likes a good xmas. Had some great ones eating loads of delicious pozole and swigging gallons of beer in Mexico.

I have no idea what's for xmas lunch this year as some friends are cooking. It'll be peruvian though and probably proper tasty. I had pigs trotters for the first time ever last year (among lots of other dishes) at the same house. They weren't too bad tbf, but I'd prefer if they weren't on the menu this year...

And yes, that's precisely why I hope to fly back in the autumn - I'd be back in the summer, but there's no football to enjoy. And also far far cheaper tickets than at xmas
